Can't beat the Long John's here at the Europe Bakery! Slight crisp on the outside and so soft inside paired with the tastiest chocolate on top makes these the best ones I've ever had.

To be fair, we have been back to EOFB a number of times to try some of the savouries and other goods.
Items tried:
Beef Sausage Roll
Chicken Sausage Roll
Cheesecake
Black Forest cake
Cheese stick
Date square
And some of the previous items we enjoyed and retried;
Cheesecake puff
Eclairs
Overall I am maintaining the previous rating of 3 stars.
There is a varying degree freshness among the new items as well. For instance, the beef and chicken sausage rolls seems been sitting there for awhile (stale and dry) while the plain croissants and cheese sticks were fresh as a daisy. One must be fairly astute to be able to judge by appearance their freshness. 7/10 for lack of consistency. Still going back to my previous advise; sell your best; don't try to be a jack of all trades and make gazillion things.
Service was a mixed bag. We were served a number of times by couple of new staffs. Took forever. One of them have trouble understanding English. Aside from requiring ample patience from the customers, they got our orders semi correct and just slightly over charged us. No biggie. 6/10
Mentioned previous review the value is definitely there. 8/10
Ambiance is cut and dry, buy and get outta there kind of place. No lingering allowed. 7/10
70% overall. Could it be better? Hell yes. But value wise it is perhaps as good as it gets. -

Daughter purchased offerings from both the bakery, and deli recently, to take for us to enjoy during an early-December, 3-night stay in Harrison Hot Springs. And 'wow', we sure did!!
- from the bakery -- their fruit cake -- for me, about as "homemade" as I have tasted for a good long while -- dark, moist, and flavourful. And a big 'yeah' for not being overly sweet!! A tasty, much enjoyed treat during several afternoon and evening 'moments' during our stay.
- from the deli -- sausage ring (garlic/Ukrainian), frankfurters, liverwurst, and sliced chicken loaf. Some very well-prepared, good tasting deli stuff, that was enjoyed during 'in-room' lunch snacks, and such
Some well-prepared, much-enjoyed tastes, and looking forward to more soon. -

They have the best every pastry! grab some pastry and doughnuts for breakfast ! Perfect combination of Sugar and Caffeine ! This mille-feuille, or Napoleon as it's also known, is a classic French pastry which is readily available in pastry shops. It's made by sandwiching crispy layers of puff pastry with a rich custard pastry cream filling and then garnishing the top with a glossy royal icing. The end result is a wonderfully appealing blend of flavors and textures--perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth over coffee.
the very best long John doughnuts as well. get them early as they often sell out -

Favourite old school bakery! We've tried their cakes, savoury pastries, cookies and bread and haven't been disappointed yet. Can't beat the low prices either! The only downside is that if you go later in the day, most items are sold out. There can also be long line ups sometimes - but it's definitely worth the wait.
